So How Do You Install FCP On a PC??!!
So the very first step of this process involves installing VMWare. We are going to use VMWare to create a special USB for the installation.
Then you need to Unlock VMWare to allow Mac OS to be installed
If you’re a Windows or Linux user, you may have come across the idea of installing VMware Catalina on your PC. The instructions in the manuals should help to guide you through this process. But, before proceeding with the installation, ensure you have the correct copy of the macOS Unlocker for VMWare.
Download & Install macOS Unlocker
Before we go any further, let us talk more about VMware unlocker for macOS GitHub and how it works.
VMware Unlocker for macOS or macOS Unlocker VMware 15 (Unlocker for VMware) is quite a handy tool that replaces a few documents such as VMware-vmx vmwarebase.dll, vmwarebase. It helps with macOS configurations, setup features like alternatives, booting, and installation configurations into VMware, and even obtain a copy of the newest version of VMware Tools for macOS on VMware should you want.
As a result, when you’ve run the patch, you’ll figure out configurations incorporated into VMware and put in any macOS version on VMware with no restrictions.
Initially, when you set up macOS Catalina or Mojave or previous versions on VMware when installing, you’ll undoubtedly be asked to choose the operating system and model you want to set up, as you’ll want to select macOS to install. There’s no such alternative for macOS to fix if installed by default. The VMware program does not support and restricts installing macOS on VMware, whether it’s VMware Workstation or Player or mix, so macOS unlocker to get VMware Workstation 15.
Download the unlocker here:
First, head to VMware Workstation Player or blend you’re using and depart completely (Seriously, otherwise, this can hurt the app).
Note: If you didn’t close VMware services, including background services, ultimately, this process may damage and might make VMware unusable.
When you have shut down the VMware apps and services from a desktop computer, navigate to VMware Unlocker for macOS or VMware Unlocker Tool. Whether you’re using VMware Workstation/Player or Fusion 7/8/10, extract it manually.
After the file is extracted, open it, and right-click win-install, choose Run as administrator.
As soon as you’ve run the Unlocker, Command Prompt will open up and prevent VMware services, backup files, perform some patching, and begin the VMware services running.
After the process is finished, Command Prompt will close automatically as if nothing happened.
And you’re all caught up! That is it for your patching.
Next we install Mac OS X High Sierra inside of VMWare in order to run The USB Installer. This video is how to install 10.13 High Sierra inside of VMWare.
Next we install VMWare tools inside of our Virtual Machine running 10.13 High Sierra. We are doing this for the full USB support drivers.
In this step we are going to create a USB for the installation.
In this step we go over my specific hardware configuration. If you want to see my Full Parts list, then go to this page
Here in step number 6 we configure the target machine for the installation of Mac OS On Windows. We are configuring the BIOS settings of the target machine in this step.
